Brentford end 50-year wait to beat rivals QPR

Austrian striker Djuricin netted in the second half at Griffin Park to give Brentford fans a victory to savour in this west London derby for the first time since August 1965.
Making the success even sweeter for Brentford, they climbed above QPR into 10th in the Championship table after a result that will heap further pressure on under-fire Hoops manager Chris Ramsey.
In the first meeting between the clubs for 11 years, Djuricin slid in to meet Alan Judge's cross with a close-range finish in the 56th minute.
QPR, who had already been thrashed 4-0 by Fulham in another west London derby this season, could count themselves unfortunate not to have earned a point after Australia striker Massimo Luongo was twice denied by the woodwork in the first half.
