Brahim breaks the deadlock for Spain: comes on at half-time and scores in the 51st minute

Brahim Díaz scored the first goal for Spain's under-21s in their Euro's qualifying campaign opener against the Faroe Islands. Just six minutes after coming on he broke the deadlock.

Luis de la Fuente put Brahim on after the break. Spain dominated during the first half but failed to come up with an opening goal.

That was why the manager looked to his bench at half-time and brought on the player on loan at AC Milan in the place of the unlucky Barrenetxea.

And the youngster from Málaga repaid the manager's trust, taking just six minutes to break the deadlock. Brahim opened the scoring in the 51st minute to put the Spanish ahead.

The number 7 picked up the ball in the area after a good save from the Faroe Islands goalkeeper, who was superb all game. With his right foot, the attacker tucked home powerfully and, finally, opened the scoring in Faroe.
