Bournemouth: Diego Rico and Dan Gosling are out with hamstring and calf problems, respectively. Kyle Taylor is also facing a calf issue, but Charlie Daniels could be in line for a return to the first-team.
Palace: Christian Benteke remains unavailable, and Jaira Riedewald is also unable to play. Wilfried Zaha has shown no problems following his scare in the warm-up against Newcastle last week.
Howe: We've had some really entertaining games with Palace, they're a good squad with a good manager. I've got nothing but respect for Roy Hodgson. He deserved a lot of credit for keeping Palace up last year. Zaha is a player that we need to be aware of, but they've also got excellent midfielders with a lot of experience, so we've got to manage it well. We love playing under lights here, so the Monday night game I'm sure will have a really good feel and the supporters will really get behind the team. And we're live to the nation so we want to put on a really good show.
Hodgson: I think they have had an excellent start to the season. From what I understand from the Burnley game, it was one of those where they weren't exactly outplayed and thrashed 4-0, but they conceded goals at the wrong time and the rest of the game was a pretty pretty even affair. I am not setting myself up as an expert on Bournemouth, and I am pretty sure Eddie Howe will be getting plenty of questions about Bournemouth at his press conference about how they have done, how they are playing and how they have started. Their start has been good, there is no doubt about that, with ten points from six games, which is a very good reward and they must be confident.
