The 'Dani Ceballos case' continues to haunt "Los Verdiblancos", but it has served as a learning curve for Real Betis who are now carrying out a 'shielding operation' with several of their top talents.
One of these cases has been that of Junior. The defender renewed his contract a few days ago and is now contracted at the club until 2023. His termination clause has increased by €25m, and now stands at €50m.
A couple of weeks before that, Loren also signed a new deal with Betis. The forward, born in Málaga, extended his contract with "Los Verdiblancos" until 2022. Loren's release clause now stands at €40m.
This was similar to what happened with Fabián. The midfielder renewed with Betis - the deal included a release clause - and left for Napoli in July for a fee of €30m.
