After Sergio Aguero had put the 'Citizens' 1-0 up in the first half Manchester City killed the game against Burnley in impressive fashion.
Goals form Bernardo Silva and Fernandinho in the 54th and 56th minutes made City's win safe and guaranteed that they would get three points.
The first came in bizarre circumstances. Leroy Sane went down in the box and with both team's appealing to the referee, who was unmoved, David Silva just kept the ball in play.
Although this was a marginal call, he played to the whistle brilliantly, crossing well to his namesake Bernardo, who finished with aplomb into the top corner.
Just two minutes later their Brazilian midfielder added a sublime third, a corner was cleared to the edge of the box, but running onto the ball Fernandinho bent a beautifully controlled finish into the top corner.
