The Brazilian delivered with a brilliant assist for Benzema who made it 1-1. The Frenchman scored with a lovely header.

Real Madrid recovered from the shocking error by Raphael Varane which saw Man City go 1-0 up.

Still in the first half, Real Madrid fought back. After a good save by Ederson to deny Benzema, the Frenchman scored a great goal to level the scores.

Rodrygo beat Cancelo all ends up and he put in a cross to the middle of the area for Benzema to head in.
