Barca want Dani Olmo to come home. Spanish media states that the club have made a formal offer for the Spanish striker from Dinamo Zagreb.
The Croatian club have rejected their offer as they consider it insufficient. It is only Barca's first attempt to sign Dani Olmo, but 'Marca' adds that the proposal would not be too far from the pretensions of Dinamo.
The footballer himself recently recognised that his exit from the Croatian League was imminent, although Barcelona's intention is that Dani Olmo comes into their squad next season.
"Last summer was the ideal time to take the next step. In the end it didn't happen and I said I was happy anyway because I wanted to play in the Champions League, but I think that my time there has ended and I want to take the next step to keep improving," the player commented to 'Jugones'.
Dani Olmo has scored eight goals in 22 games this season with Dinamo Zagreb. His role in Croatia and in the Champions League has even led him to being selected for the Spanish national team.
Rumours also place the 21-year-old forward in the orbit of clubs such as Napoli and Atletico Madrid, but Barca were the first to take the step and present an offer to bring back Dani Olmo, who left La Masia in 2014 after playing in the Barcelona youth team.
