Barca also in quarantine on Twitter

Because of the coronavirus crisis, many people have stayed at home to protect themselves from the disease. Barcelona wanted to remind people of the situation by changing their name on Twitter. They added the word "from" and the image of a house. The message is easily understood. 

The majority of posts on social media refer to the pandemic which is leading to calls for people not to leave their homes. Therefore, Barca's Twitter account did this. It is in keeping with what is being spoken about on Twitter. 

The club published a message of support and union. "We are more than a Club and we will emerge from this even stronger. Take care, culers (Barca fans) and #StayAtHome," the club tweeted. 

It is worth remembering that Barcelona is in Catalonia, the autonomous community which is in confinement because of the coronavirus. What does that mean? That no one can leave or enter the region. The president of the Catalan government, Quim Torra, confirmed it in a press conference.
