Bale speaks out about Madrid: "I'm normal, quiet, maybe they didn't like that"

Gareth Bale is already back on English soil enjoying his second spell at Tottenham, now with Jose Mourinho leading the team. But the Welsh striker has not forgotten about Real Madrid.
After offering some not too positive words about his time at Real Madrid in which he assured that he didn't regret anything, Bale has again made some controversial statements about the side.
Although Bale continues to belong to the Madrid team, with which he has played 251 official matches, he gave an interview to 'Sky Sports' in which he said: "I just want to enjoy my football".
"In Madrid I was a bit down for some time, I think everyone could see it. When you're not happy, it's difficult to play at your highest level," he continued, recalling his time at Santiago Bernabéu.
"I am very quiet, I try to keep to myself as much as possible and away from the cameras and the press. Maybe that's what they didn't like there," added the Welsh international striker, in yet more negative comments towards the Spanish capital.
