Atletico Madrid confirm injuries to Kondogbia and Llorente

More problems for Diego Simeone. The elimination in the Spanish Super Cup was terrible news for Atletico Madrid as they are well below the expectations set at the start of the season. In addition, they keep on receiving injuries. 

Atletico Madrid confirmed this Saturday the absences of Geoffrey Kondogbia and Marcos Llorente. Medical tests determined that the two footballers have problems in their left thigh. 

During the game against Athletic Bilbao, which ended in a terrible result for Atletico Madrid, alarm bells set off when two players had to be substituted. Llorente did not play any of the second half while Kondogbia went off in the 50th minute. 

It is still not known how much time he will be out for. Both players will have physiotherapy and his signing will depend on how they respond and the time they take to re-adapt.
