Atletico Madrid are out of Europe for this season. They were knocked out of the Champions League and, as they finished bottom of their group, they missed out on the Europa League as well.
The setback will have consequences for the club's coffersbecause Atletico thought they would be getting more money. As a result, they could be forced to sell some of their stars.
Joao Felix will reportedly be the first to leave. He is not comfortable, his relationship with Simeone is not going through its best moment and Man Utd could try and get him to move to Old Trafford.
'The Sun' reveals another three playuers who could pack their bags in January, as well as Joao Felix. The newspaper mentions Thomas Lemar, Yannick Carrasco and Rodrigo de Paul.
Last summer, according to 'L'Equipe', Lemar was offered to Arsenal and Everton. Both said now to the signing, but 'The Sun' thinks that now they could go after the Frenchman again.
Yannick Carrasco would also have quite a good chance to leave and, like Joao Felix and Lemar, would have a place in the Premier League. Because of his style of play, 'The Sun' believes he could join Tottenham.
Lastly, De Paul. His trip in the middle of the season did not go down well at all at the club. He was seen in Miami at an awards ceremony when he should have been in Argentina. That as well as being knocked out of Europe could have cost him his place at the club. They believe that Liverpool and Arsenal are two more than interesting options for the Argentina international.
