"As things stand, we expect Olmo to come back to us"

Tense calm at Barcelona. The signing of Dani Olmo is a possibility, but RB Leipzig know that they have the situation under control in the negotiations. The European champion has a contract in Germany until 30 June 2027.

Sporting director Rouven Schroder told Sky Sport: "Dani has an incredible value for us. We have no pressure to sell him. As things stand, we hope he will come back to us after his holiday. The rest remains to be seen.

However, journalist Fabrizio Romano reported that the deal was agreed at a fixed 55 million. Barcelona would reach 62 million euros if they meet their established objectives.
