Barcelona have plenty of reasons to be similing this morning. Not only did they thump Roma 4-1 in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final but their future signing, Arthur, continued to show off his quality in South America.
During Gremio's defence of their Copa Libertadores title, the 21-year-old midfielder spotted his teammate free on the right way and decided to pick him out with a defence-splitting pass.
It arrived at Luan's feet with pin-point accuracy, allowing the forward to finish off Gremio's third goal comfortably.
Arthur did more than just provide one assist though. He completed 96 per cent of passes during the match (122 of 127), generating five goal chances in the process whilst also successfully dribbling on three occasions.
It was the perfect performance from a player who will wear the Barcelona jersey next season, when he completes his €30million-plus move to the Camp Nou on July 15.
