Martin Braithwaite wants to stay at Camp Nou. At Barcelona, however, they have other plans for him: they are looking for a new club for him.
In England, Brighton have shown interest in him. The last offer made by this club was rejected by the Dane, but there could be more. At least that's what 'Mundo Deportivo' says.
The Catalan newspaper relies on information from 'The Athletic'. It explains that Brighton will soon receive around 55 million euros. Arsenal will pay this amount for Ben White, thus helping Barcelona to sell Braithwaite. The club will use these 55 million to improve their proposal for the Danish striker. In this way, they could convince him to try his luck in England.
Braithwaite is aware of Barca's plans for him. The club itself has told his agent that, if an offer comes in that suits him, they will not hesitate to sell him. Although he wants to stay, he is aware that he could be forced to make a move this summer.
Arsenal could become Barca's best ally to accommodate Braithwaite. It will all depend on whether they sign Ben White, as they assume in England.
