Arsenal still in talks with Nico Williams' agent

Arsenal have had another great season but once again fell just short of being Premier League champions due to the great domestic campaign of Arne Slot's Liverpool. 

The Gunners will be looking to fight for the title again next season and both Arteta and the board are monitoring several players to try to sign them in the summer transfer window to strengthen the squad.

One of the players on Arsenal's radar is Nico Williams, who Mikel Arteta wanted to sign last summer, along with other clubs such as FC Barcelona, although the Spanish winger finally decided to renew his contract with Athletic Club until 2027.

According to Nicolo Schira, the Gunners are still interested in signing Williams and new sporting director Andrea Berta considers him a main target for the club, so negotiations are still open with his agent, who has been contacted by several clubs interested in the 22-year-old attacker.
