Araujo all smiles and optimistic after surgery

Ronald Araujo wanted to send a reassuring message to all his fans. The Uruguyan posted on his social media three photos in which he seems very happy and smiling, with a short caption.

The Barca player, who had to go under the knife 17 days ago after a right thigh injury, is recovering at home.

That is why, in the pictures, the Barcelona-man is inseperable from his crutches, which he will have throughout his whole recovery. "After some intense weeks, I wanted to share that, thanks to God, the operation went well", the Urugyan international posted.

To finish off his post, he added: "I have already started my recovery and I am determined to come back in the best shape possible. Thanks to everyone for your messages of support, God bless!"
