Sergio Aguero is facing a ban after replays showed the Argentine swung an elbow at West Ham defender Winston Reid.

Aguero caught the New Zealand international with an elbow and even though the incident was missed referee Andre Marriner, the forward may receive a retrospective punishment.

If punished, Aguero may receive a three-match ban, and if so, Aguero would miss the Manchester derby on 10 September.

The Argentinian would also miss City's Premier League match against Bournemouth and an EFL Cup tie against Swansea City.
