10 Barca players fighting for three spots!

"A good problem to have" is a phrase which is usually heard in the world of football when a coach has a number of footballers for a particular position. In the end, not everyone can play, but competitiveness grows.
This initial phrase defines perfectly what Xavi Hernandez has this season up front for Barca. He is spoilt for choice when it comes to attacker, something you rarely see at the Camp Nou.
In total, 10 players are fighting for three spots up front. Eight are from the first team and two from the B team: Ousmane Dembele, Memphis Depay, Ansu Fati, Adama Traore, Martin Braithwaite, Luuk de Jong, Ferran Torres, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Jutgla and Ez Abde.
Loads of strikers for a team which have had serious problems when it comes to finish in the final third in the first half of the season. To give an example, this season, Barca have scored 32 goals in 21 matches whereas they had scored 44 at the same stage last term. Leo Messi's departure has been noted a lot.
The arrivals of Torres, Traore and Aubameyang will add a lot of competitive ness to a team which have lost Yusuf Demir. In any case, you have to take into account certain factors as well as the amount of players.
The first of those is injuries. Fati has several months while Memphis Depay and Ousmane Dembele are injured right now. Others have been injured throughout the season so everyone should get a chance to show their worth.
Dembele's case is also a peculiar one. Xavi has made it clear that he has the firm intention of giving him game time, despite the fact he will leave for free in the summer. There are lots of things to resolve when it comes to who should play in which position and the strikers will have to earn themselves a spot by scoring goals.
