Ryan Giggs has been appointed as the new Wales manager, the Football Association of Wales has confirmed on social media.
Giggs, widely considered to be one of the best players in the country's history takes over after Coleman's departure to take the reins at Championship side Sunderland.
The appointment marks Giggs' first dabble into the world of management following the end of his trophy-laden playing career.
The 44-year-old made 64 appearances for Wales between 1991 and 2007.
Wales narrowly missed out on qualification for this summer's World Cup and Giggs will now focus on attempting to qualify for the 2020 European Championships.
