Morata's deal was due to expire in June 2019, but Juventus announced: "Alvaro Morata has signed a new deal that will see him remain at the club until June 30, 2020."
Morata joined Juventus from Real Madrid on a five-year deal for 20 million euros in 2014 and the Spanish giants had the nous to include a clause which allows them to buy him back in June 2019.
News of his contract extension should silence the Italian media reports which questioned Morata's commitment to the Turin giants following a recent lean spell.
Morata had a month out at the start of the season due to injury but won the hearts of Juve fans in September when he scored in a 2-0 Champions League win over Sevilla in Turin.
It was the fifth time in succession the Spaniard had scored in a Champions League game and equalled the club record held by Juventus legend Alessandro Del Piero.
Morata had recently come in for criticism over a series of mediocre performances that, coincidentally, have seen fellow striker Paulo Dybala flourish.
