What a game. What an exhibition. The hug between two attack-minded managers who have gifted us with a thrilling match, which surprisingly ends 1-1. Both teams had an endless amount of chances to go up, but in the end it will be a point apiece.

Liverpool terrible miss!
Just when City seemed best in this game Liverpool waste their best chance. Firmino is released behind the defence and he pulls the ball back for Lallana, who had an open tap-in which he completely missed.

City hit the post!
After Aguero abd Sane's great play, the striker trips inside the box, the ball finally falls to De Bruyne who shoots with his left and hits the woodwork. Anything could happen in this game!

De Bruyne down the right with a great low cross, and Aguero with the calm finish. City had not really created much in this second half.

The clearest chance yet. Aguero fed a through ball into Sane's path who, at a tight angle, shot at goal. Mignolet stretched his leg to save and the ball falls to Silva who shoots over the bar.

The Brazilian slid in to a challenge on Silva, but caught his ankle, and sees yellow.
Fernandinho drilled in a low cross which could have been met by Aguero, who went down after a light challenge from Matip.

Good attacking move from City which ended with De Bruyne's cross, which was creeping in the near post, parried away to corner by Mignolet. Still no shots but plenty of danger.
