After a busy summer for Piotz Zielinski, the Pole is enjoying his football again at Napoli and has no desire to leave the Italian club after a superb start to the season. According to 'La Gazzetta dello Sport', the midfielder is considering renewing his contract and staying in Italy for many more years.

Piotr Zielinski came very close to leaving Napoli for West Ham this summer, but fate proved the board right and rejected the offer that came in for the Pole.

Luciano Spalletti has once again placed his faith in him and he is already an undisputed midfielder in his team. So far this season he has scored four goals and provided six assists in 14 games played.

According to 'La Gazzetta dello Sport', the good feelings and the moment Zielinski is experiencing at Napoli have changed his mind and he is no longer considering leaving, but wants to renew his contract, as he feels more than comfortable with the Serie A leaders this season.

The coach acknowledged the Pole's good level in a press conference: "Piotr had a poor season last year and he is the first to recognise it and to know it, but there is a public and a quality of scouts who all say the same thing about Zielinski: that he has great ability, that he can be a top player. So in this case we just had to wait".
