Real Madrid fans smiled as they saw Eden Hazard training at Valdebebas. The Belgian, who has not had a food season because of his injury problems, will be available for Zidane once the season resumes.
Hazard was able to train along with the rest of his teamates although it was revealed he needs "more physical work and more time with the ball" to become fully fit. He has around three weeks before the season resumes.
It looked like Zidane would be missing Hazard for the rest of the season. His ankle injury in February was set to rule him out for the rest of the season.
But now, the Belgian footballer will try and became that player who dominated at Chelsea and who Real Madrid ended up paying 100 million euros for.
Real Madrid's number '7', hopes to lead the attack of a team who have suffered from a lack of clinical finishing. They lost top spot in La Liga just before COVID-19 stopped play.
"I feel very good to be back working with the teammates. Now we have to wait for the games to arrive, but I'm very happy. After two months out, I need more physical work and more time with the ball. I only want to be ready for the next game," the player said.
Hazard will also be joined by Marco Asensio. The former Mallorca man got injured in pre-season and has not been able to play any competitive game, but he is now ready to return.
