Xavi is a prominent figure in Qatar. The ex-Al Sadd manager was received warmly for his visit at the Qatari side's training complex, where Juanma Lillo and some players who were under his leadership were waiting for him.
According to 'Sport', some of his family were there with him, including his parents, his brother Oscar and the ex-footballer's advisor Sergio Alegre. When he walked on the pitch, he received a lot of applause from some of the workers of the Qatari side, as well as from the footballers who were there when he was.
This was proof of the big impact that he left in the small Middle-East country. Before returning, Xavi will eat with ex-Arsenal and Villarreal player Santi Cazorla, who is playing host while the Catalan visits.
Xavi is to return on the 30th November and on the 5th he will be back at Barcelona to prepare for the return to training with five players, as the rest will either still be in Qatar, or on holiday.
