Ribéry left some juicy sentences in his interview. He started by explaining how he experienced the strangest months of his career in the summer transfer window when he left Bayern Munich after being there for 12 seasons.
"I had a different summer than usual. I've never trained alone before, and it's ugly. Football is about joy and sharing", he remembered.
"When I spoke to Pradè and Barone, including the manager Montella, I felt warmth and confidence in myself. And then Wahiba told me: we will go to Florence. Now I'm here and I'm happy. When I agreed to come to Florence, I couldn't have known it would be love at first sight. And so it was like that, from the night of the opening press conference. That night was special and I will always take it with me", he said about his arrival to the Italian outfit.
Ribéry also spoke about Zidane, who he met with the France national team: "In the 2006 World Cup, I was often with him and I understood how to behave like a champion and what you must do to be one. 'Zizou' was an example".
On the other hand, the 36-year-old winger was asked about his reaction after the defeat to Genoa. He didn't hesitate to train until the early hours of the morning.
"I did it because I was angry and I had to vent. I stayed until 04:30: running and cycling, listening to music. Then I went to bed and fell asleep. The message must be clear: win and keep winning", he revealed.
Ribéry also spoke about an interesting time with David Alaba, who arrived at Bayern at a young age: "Alaba was 16 years old, I took him home for lunch and encouraged him. One day he saw my Ferrari and my watch on my wrist. I told him not to look at them and just think about improving and focusing on the field. Later, and only later, the rest would come. Alaba has done it and now he thanks me.
"Here I talk a lot with Chiesa and Castrovilli, they're smart guys and we all want to grow up together. I also talk a lot off the field, I like it because everyone listens to me and follow my example", he added when concluding about his relationship with the young talents at Fiorentina.
