William signs on loan for Schalke until end of the season

Schalke 04, who are bottom of the Bundesliga and 10 points from safety, are making the most of their options in the current transfer market to strengthen their squad and be able to climb up the table.

For that reason, William de Asevedo has arrived. Schalke informed of his signing on Monday until the end of the current season. The player arrives on loan from Wolfsburg.

The 25-year-old full-back has only played 2 matches so far, so he accepted his departure from the team in search of playing time.

Schalke 04 director Jochen Schneider praised his arrival: "We have signed William to fill our vacant spot at right-back. With him and Timo Becker, head coach Christian Gross now has two different types of players who can play in this position".
