Barring a surprise, Liverpool will get Leipzig's Timo Werner in the next transfer window.,
His arrival at Anfield was practically sealed apart from the final negotiations, but the coronavirus pandemic has put the move on hold.
Nevertheless, everything seems to indicate that Werner will be working under Jurgen Klopp next term although the German is not guaranteed to start. That is due to Liverpool's lethal strike force.
The Liverpool manager has gone for Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane as his front three and it will be difficult to force his way in at the expense of one of those players.
Klopp could also opt for a change in formation and that would allow those three plus Werner to start although this looks unlikely due to the way Klopp ikes his team to play.
