"We wanted to score so badly that we forgot to defend..."

Robert Lewandowski's brace was not enough to see Inter off. The game ended 3-3 and the Catalan giants have no choice but to try to win all their remaining Champions League games if they want to advance from the group stage.
After the match, the Pole gave his opinion on what happened. He believes that not enough attention was paid to defensive duties.
"We wanted to score more goals so badly that we forgot about our defence and our opponents' counter-attacks. Inter created chances too easily. We lacked coolness and calm," he commented in the mixed zone.
Lewandowski, who reached 500 goals in his career, said injuries didn't help either. "We've had a lot of injuries in the team in recent weeks and it's not easy to change the line-up all the time. We lack stability. Maybe that's why these kind of games happen," he said.
Finally, he praised the great work of the opponents: "Inter are a tough opponent for a striker. They defend five players and there is also a defensive midfielder. We tried to attack with more players so that one of us could get rid of the marking. We scored three goals, but conceded the same. We are disappointed we didn't win.
