"We've been fighting for all the titles for several years"
Manchester City, after three consecutive losses in FA Cup semi-finals, have the chance to fight for the title. After beating Sheffield United 3-0 Pep Guardiola spoke to 'ITV' about his side's chances.
"It's an honour to be in the FA Cup final on the 3rd June. We played really well, we can't forget that three days ago we were in Munich", the Catalan coach said.
When talking about the possibility of getting the triple, Guardiola said: "It's not about reaching this stage of the tournament, but about how far we've come in the fight for titles during several years. Being there for so long shows the club's mentality".
To conclude, Pep was full of praise for Man of the Match Riyad Mahrez: "Riyad's quality is what we've seen for so many years in England, also during his spell at Leicester. He's got a great competitive spirit and a great ambition to score goals. The goal he scored at the end of the first half was very important".
