Arsenal have the upper hand in the Premier League title race after a 3-0 win at Brighton, allied to Liverpool's 2-2 draw at Manchester United, allowed the Gunners to end the weekend on top thanks to their superior goal difference.
"We're disappointed about the result because we had a lot of chances in the first half. I think we could have scored more and we could play better. We're disappointed about the result," Endo told 'Viaplay'.
"We knew that we needed to start strong from the beginning of the game – I think we did from the beginning. We had a lot of chances, so if we score a few [more] goals in the first half, I think the result would be different," he added.
Another tricky local derby awaits later this month away to Everton, while Liverpool face Champions League chasing Tottenham and Aston Villa in two of their final three games.
Endo went on to add: "But it's happened, so we need to stay positive and keep going."
