"We have received great offers to sell PSG"

Paris Saint-Germain remain, and will continue to be, under a cloud of criticism for being a multi-million dollar project that is failing to achieve its goal of lifting the Champions League.

On that subject and many others, chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi spoke in an interview with 'The Athletic', where he said they have added "value to European football by spending on PSG".

"For us, coming to PSG was like buying a small business that was losing money, and then you had to inject money," he explained.

Nasser Al-Khelaifi recalled that they bought PSG for €70m and claimed that "now it is worth much more" and admitted that they have received offers to sell the club,

"We bought PSG for 70 million euros. Now it is worth much more and we have received great offers to buy the club. In that sense, you can see that this is an investment project," he concluded.
