Every club in the world would love to have a player of Leo Messi's caliber in their squad. Inter Milan included.
In recent months, the Italian press specutlated about Messi's possible signing for Inter Milan. But Zhang, the Inter president, denied that they considered buying the '10' not because they do not like him, but because they could not have made that investment.
"Messi? We didn't even think about him. Such an investment cannot be part of our project," Zhang told 'Il Corriere della Sera'.
That said, he did not rule out getting him in the future. "We aren't considering it, at least not now," he said.
Zhang explained how Inter will act in the transfer window in the short and long term: "Our pillars right now are innovation, planning, constant growth and economic stability. That's how we will take Inter to the best level," he highlighted.
