Bernardo Silva spoke in the mixed zone after Manchester City-Leeds United. Pep Guardiola's side took all three points and are now looking ahead to the Champions League semi-final against Real Madrid.
The Portuguese player spoke of respect before their visit to the Santiago Bernabeu: "We have a lot of respect for them, yes, but no fear. Why should we fear them? We would be stupid not to respect them".
Bernardo Silva also looked back at last season's comeback: "We have that objective knowing that we lost last year in difficult circumstances. This time we will try to make it different".
The Portuguese challenged and heated up the match: "It's not about the crest, it's never about the crest. If Madrid didn't have Modric, Kroos, Vinicius, Benzema... they wouldn't win anything, because the shirt doesn't do it on its own".
Bernardo Silva has scored five goals and provided six assists so far this season. Pep Guardiola's side are depending on themselves to win the Premier League and are two games away from being able to achieve the great objective of the Cityzens' project.
