Voracious Mbappe to try to break another Real Madrid record in the 'Clasico'

There is a player who is determined to make history at Real Madrid. His name is Kylian and his surname is Mbappe. The player from Bondy, a dazzling signing from the 'Merengues' last summer, is on his way to breaking a record held by Ivan Zamorano since the 1992-93 season: being the highest-scoring debutant in the club's history.
The former Chilean striker, who was not a dribbler but was lethal in the box, has the honour of being the top scorer in this category with 37 goals in 45 games. It seemed unthinkable that anyone would reach this overwhelming mark. Not even Cristiano himself, one of the most lethal players seen in the world of football. He scored 33 goals in 35 matches in his first year as a 'Merengue'.
A record that has already been overshadowed by a Mbappe who currently boasts 36 goals in 52 games. The Frenchman, who surpassed Ronaldo in the final of the Copa del Rey against Barcelona, added another two goals to his particular account in the last La Liga matchday played against Celta. A brace -one with the right and the other with the left- to put him within range of Ivan Zamorano.
The Frenchman continues to lead an attacking trio that is half off due to the performances of Vinicius and Rodrygo. Just take a look at Madrid's scoring figures in La Liga: 69 goals scored, 24 of which bear the signature of Mbappe to the 11 and 6 of the Brazilians, respectively.
Mbappe arrived at Real Madrid with the idea of being that differential player destined to mark an era in white. For the time being, the player from Bondy is fulfilling the expectations generated in terms of goals, but not in terms of titles. Carlo Ancelotti's team has only won the European Super Cup and the Intercontinental Cup -in both of which he had a direct impact-, has lost the Copa del Rey, a tournament snatched by Barca in La Cartuja on April 26th, without the Champions League -they were eliminated in the quarterfinals by Arsenal- and is currently following in the wake of the eternal rival in the championship.
The priority of 'Los Blancos' and Kylian himself is to win the 'Clasico' to put La Liga title race red-hot. A match marked in red on the calendar for a player who has every chance of equaling or even surpassing the record of the Chilean Ivan Zamorano. The two are separated by a goal difference, so it is only a matter of time before the Frenchman puts his name in one of the thousands of historic pages of Real Madrid's history books.
But it does not stop there because he is also immersed in the battle for being La Liga top goalscorer. Lewandowski is the leader with 25 goals to Mbappe's 24, who has managed to close the gap after taking advantage of the fact that the Pole has not scored for a month (he has not scored in the last three and has also missed two due to injury). In addition to Barca, the French still has to face Mallorca (home), Sevilla (away) and Real Sociedad (away). The fight is on.
