Vitor Roque 'ready' to play for Barcelona

Barcelona are still looking for promising players for their squad and Athletico Paranaense striker Vitor Roque is their priority. The 18-year-old gave an interview to 'Sport' and spoke about his interest in playing in Europe.

"I feel ready to play for Barcelona. I try to stay focused on the day-to-day and give my best at Athletico. I’m sure that if I do well here, going to Europe will be a possibility.

"It’s a great motivation. It’s very important and I see it as a reason to want to aspire for more, to want to work harder, which is what I do," he added.

"I have to be humble so that everything turns out well. That’s why I always talk about thanking God. Without work and without God none of this would be happening," Roque concluded.
