According to the 'Daily Mail', Villarreal's Nicolas Jackson will undergo medical tests this weekend at Chelsea. The Blues have been linked with the young star for a little while now, as they have been lacking in fire power up front, and desperately need to find a solution.
The 21-year-old is their golden ticket, netting 13 goals last season, ending his last eight games with nine goals scored and helping his side finish 5th in La Liga. He would cost the Blues around €40 million and the London side are looking for a five-year deal.
Most of the talk of Chelsea's transfer window has focused on the troops of players leaving the club, several going to Saudi Arabia, Kai Havertz close to a move to Arsenal and Mason Mount in negotiation still with Man United.
The Blues are also tracking Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo and look the most likely to sign the Ecuadorian for somewhere in the region of €100 million.
