Fabrizio Romano, transfer market expert, confirmed recently that Paris Saint Germain had signed Portuguese youngster Vitinha from Porto.
The 22 year-old midfielder joins the French champions for a fee of 40 million euros and is contracted to the Parisians until 2027. The Portuguese player made his first-team debut for Porto in 2020 before joining English Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers on loan for the 2020/21 season and playing 22 games in his first experience abroad. Vitinha has been capped three times by Portugal and returned to Porto last summer, making 47 appearances and helping the club to a domestic league-cup double.
The youngster will be hoping to justify his price tag and look to break into a midfield which already contains the likes of Veratti, Paredes, Gueye, Pereira and Herrera.
