Chelsea hosted Southampton in a Premier League clash on Saturday.
The Blues took a ninth minute lead through Trevor Chalobah and Timo Werner thought he had made it two before the break, but the VAR spotted a foul by Cesar Azpilicueta on Kyle Walker-Peters. The away side were given a penalty on the hour mark after a foul by Chilwell and James Ward-Prowse converted it. However, a red card for Ward-Prowse after a poor challenge on Jorginho was the turning point and Werner and Chilwell scored late on to give Chelsea a 3-1 win.
After the game, Thomas Tuchel talked about Timo Werner, who finally got his first Premier League goal of the season and more in the video above! Werner has had 16 goals chalked off by VAR since joining the club.
