VIDEO: Mahrez on win vs Sporting

Manchester City took a trip to Lisbon on Tuesday night as they faced Sporting in the 1st leg of their Champions League round of 16 tie. City thumped the home side 0-5. A game any Sporting fan will want to forget quickly!

Mahrez opened the scoring after just 7 minutes. A goal from Phil Foden and a Bernardo Silva brace added three more before the break. It was damage limitation for Lisbon in the second half but they could not prevent City getting a fifth through Raheem Stirling.

The tie is all but over for Lisbon, as they will need a Champions League miracle on their visit to the Etihad for the second leg. Mahrez will be hoping for more of the same for City however. Listen to his post match above!
