VIDEO: Kurt Zouma's road to Chelsea's first-team

Kurt Zouma has had a meteoric rise from Chelsea's fringes to the first team - check out his transformation here!
Since joining from Saint-Etienne in 2014, Zouma has had to overcome some serious difficulties in his rise to the first team. The Frenchman suffered a horrific knee injury in 2016 which saw him sidelined for six months, coming at a time when he was getting a serious run in with the first team.
From that point, the CB understably struggled to regain his form, spending successive loan spells at Stoke City and Everton during the two following seasons. Since then, however, he has accumulated an impressive number of appearances for the 'Blues', tallying 82 in the last two seasons.
This campaign, he has added goals to these performances, already converting five this season and making Chelsea a serious danger from set-pieces. Tuchel will certainly need to rely on Zouma in the final stages of the season, as his side's schedule piles up with important matches.
