VIDEO: Gundogan's first words as Barca player: 'A dream come true'

Barca's star summer signing has touched down at his new home. The German arrives on free transfer, after his contract expired at Man City. Upon his arrival, the midfielder sat down to talk about his excitement for his next chapter. 

Gundogan also explained that he has followed Barca since the time of Rijkaard and Guardiola and that he hopes to "bring experience and quality to the midfield as well as helping the young players."

The former Borussia Dortmund player has been in touch with coach Xavi and thinks they see the game in the same way. At Barca, Gundogan will coincide with former team mates Lewandowski from Dortmund and Ter Stegen from the German national side.

He joins the team for their pre-season training, ahead of their tour of the USA where they will play friendly matches against the likes of Arsenal, and notorious rivals Real Madrid.
