In 2008, Lyon faced PSG at the Stade de France in Paris in the 2008 Coupe de France final. Lyon had won Ligue 1 that season while PSG had won the French League Cup.
More than 80,000 fans packed the stands of the national stadium, but the 90 minutes ended goalless so the match went to the extra time. As penalties loomed, Sidney Govou popped up in the 102nd minute to put Lyon ahead and seal the trophy for Alain Perrin's men. That was the club's fourth Coupe de France and that team featured the likes of Toulalan, Juninho, Fred and Benzema.
