Vidal doesn't hide his anti-Madrid feelings

Fighting a civil war in the dressing room with Valverde for not making him a starter, Arthuro Vidal nevertheless is confident his new team will beat a side against which has had problems over the years.

The midfielder spoke of his immense frustration after Bayern Munich lost to 'Los Blancos' in 2016/17 saying: "Two goals that were offside. Casemiro not being sent off before I was. When they rob a game away from you like that it's too much to take. It was really ugly" he said in a press conference after the game.

Vidal went on to bring in to question the professionalism of the match officials: "It makes you so angry. He made a lot of errors. It was the referee that knocked us out of the Champions League, not Real Madrid. Such a robbery cannot happen at this level, it was so obvious and you start to doubt things".

The latest instalment in this saga was the quarter-finals of the Champions League last season, in which Mehdi Benatia was judged to ahve brought down Lucas Vazquez for Juventus in the final minutes: "He didn't do anything! It's hapening again" was Vidal's response.

The 'Madristas' of course went on to play Bayern in the next round and won over ttwo legs, with the player sharing an equally disparaging opinion on social media.
