"United aren't an easy team, but I don't regret being here"

After 32 league matches, Manchester United find themselves in seventh spot in the Premier League standings, on 51 points. Their objective is to be playing in Europe next season. As it stands, they are three points off fifth. Should they manage to achieve this position in the table, it will be mission accomplished.
Despite the issues the club have had this season, Rangnick has made it very clear to the media that he would not swap being Manchester United manager for anything else in the world.
"No, no regrets whatsoever. I would do it over and over again. I don’t regret that at all. As a manager, you always have to question what you could have done better but I have no regrets … We are all aware it’s not an easy squad and the whole situation was not easy or I would not be sitting here and Ole would probably still be here", he said.
The manager believes that his team have improved despite not being happy with everything he has been seeing from his players: "We have shown in the past couple of months we were able to raise the level but not in the same sustainable way that I would have wished. That’s the reason I’m not happy at all with what we’ve achieved so far".
To finish, he wanted to send a message to the United fans: "I don't think we've had to deal with a negative environment so far. Their support has been massive, home and away", he concluded.
