UEFA forced Inter to change shirts in the Champions League

Inter Milan were unable to wear their second kit against Shakhtar Donetsk. The Italian side were banned by UEFA from wearing the 'Biscione' on their kit.

Inter Milan have faced a problem with UEFA. The Italian side are not allowed to use their second shirt in this Champions League.

The reason is the 'Biscione' on the shirt. This is the official symbol representing Milan. A nod to the city that is home to two of Serie A's biggest teams.

However, UEFA prohibits all pictorial elements, as the shirts "must not contain images, illustrations or other symbols", as in this case, the 'Biscione'.

Thus, Simone Inzaghi's side played against Shakhtar Donetsk in a white shirt but without the snake motif that represents the city.
