UEFA cuts Dynamo Kiev ban ahead of City visit

Dynamo were ordered to play their next three European games behind closed doors in November following their fans' racist behaviour and crowd trouble during a match against Group G rivals Chelsea.

However, UEFA's appeals commission announced they had reduced the punishment to one match, allowing fans to attend the February 24 clash at the Olympic stadium.

"As the club has already played one match behind closed doors during the UEFA Champions League 2015/2016 -- FC Dynamo Kiev vs Maccabi Tel Aviv FC played on 9 December 2015, the club has already served this sanction," read a statement from European football's governing body.

The original sanction, in which the third match was suspended for a probationary of three years, also included a 100,000-euro fine, which was halved upon appeal.
