Tottenham overtake Chelsea in race for Luis Enrique

Luis Enrique's future seems to be in the Premier League. The Asturian coach is still without a team since his departure from the Spanish national team after the elimination in the round of 16 of the last World Cup in Qatar.

Two teams who have had a poor season so far are the favourites for his services. The first of them, Chelsea, who have already signed their third manager of the campaign.

However, and as 'The Telegraph' pointed out, Tottenham would be ahead of the Blues in the race. Spurs are not going through a good moment either and are already planning the next season after Conte's departure.

Luis Enrique will have to make up his mind in just a few months' time, but all the signs are that his future will be in England. Meanwhile, Chelsea are already looking for alternatives in the market in case Daniel Levy's side get their way and bring in the Asturian to lead their project for the 2023-24 season.
