After his arrival at Tottenham in summer 2016, Victor Wanyama became one of the most used players by the then manager, Mauricio Pochettino.
The Kenyan became a nailed on starter in midfield for Spurs, but his performances got worse and he has gone from playing 47 matches in the 2016-17 season to just 122 minutes in the 2019-20 season.
The London outfit looked for a departure for him in the summer transfer window, but in the end, no move was completed and the 28 year-old footballer is still at Jose Mourinho's side.
But, given that Wanyama does not meet the requirements the Portuguese coach wants in midfield, Tottenham are apparently planning to terminate his contract, the 'Birmingham Mail' reports.
