Tite robbed by thief and then criticised for World Cup elimination!

In Brazil, they are looking for a new coach. Tite decided to quit after Brazil were knocked out by Croatia in the quarter-finals. The favourite to take over is Roma boss Jose Mourinho, although there are also other candidates in the running.

Tite is now enjoying some rest after the tournament, but he ended up finding himself in an unexpected situation. According to journalist Ancelmo Gois of 'O Globo', the coach was the victim of a robbery at around 06:00 local time (10:00 CET) in Rio de Janeiro. 

Tite was walking calmly through the Barra da Tijuca area of the city when a thief approached him. The thief took an unspecified personal object off him. 

If that were not enough, the thief also had something else to say to Tite. He criticised Tite for Brazil's poor World Cup. He was upset that Brazil were unable to lift the trophy for the sixth time and, before fleeing, he made his feelings known to the former boss.

Tite is fine, according to journalist Gois. He was unhurt, but obviously shaken up by what happened.
