This is how Ronaldo reacted to positive COVID-19 result: nervous and demanding more testing

According to Cristiano Ronaldo, his positive COVID-19 test result on Tuesday came out of nowhere. 'Correio da Manha' revealed his first reactions after finding out: he was incredulous.

The Portuguese star was very nervous when the test came back positive, ruling him out of Portugal's clash with Switzerland and several Juventus matches. He remains a doubt to face Barcelona in the Champions League in Turin.

According to the source, CR7's reaction was one of shock, and he immediately insisted that the test be repeated. The Juventus player has always been asymptomatic and doesn't believe that he could have the virus.

CR7 doesn't understand why he has to spend almost two weeks out, even if he tests negative. he has changed his perspective in the last few hours though. On Tuesday afternoon, he looked cheery when watching his team train from his room's balcony.

Portugal manager Fernando Santos insists that Ronaldo hasn't transmitted COVID-19 to the rest of the Portugal squad: "What happened has happened and it wasn't as a result of not following the rules. There hasn't been anyone else who has contracted the virus".
